Reindeer season in the Aleutians off and running for 2011!
We've just brought out our second group of hunters from the 2011 season and so far we are running at 100% success rate on bulls right in the 400" range. The private charter service this year has made flying much less problematic (knock on wood!) and we are seeing thousands of reindeer now as they migrate dwon the island. Jim's long time friend, Gregg Ritz, just got back and said it was one of the top hunting expereinces of his career and that, "every hunter should figure out how to get up here - it's amazing!" We couldn't agree more Gregg!
