Aleutian Island Reindeer Opportunity Expands!
After a great first season working with our partners at APICDA Joint Ventures, Inc. on Umnak Island in the Aleutians for trophy reindeer, we have come to an agreement to offer additional hunts.
Starting in 2010, we will be marketing hunts for Atka Island as well, which gives us the ability to take an additional 10-12 hunters for trophy reindeer each season. Additionally the situation on Atka allows us to start hunting earlier in in the season (beginning in mid August) and combine the hunt with halibut and salmon fishing.
We are very excited to continue to grow this relationship with APICDA Joint Ventures, Inc. which not only allows more hunters to experience world-class hunting in a very unique and special part of the world, it also helps APICDA fulfill its mission of growing tourism and community development in the Aleutians.
