Reindeer Hunters Tag Huge Bulls!
Umnak Island, AK--Our first year of reindeer camp in the Aleutian Islands is off to a great start. After only two days of hunting, three of the four hunters in our first group of clients have taken fantastic reindeer that will score somewhere between the high 300's to the high 400's.
David Chapdelaine took this huge reindeer bull while hunting in mid-October with our Aleutian Adventures operation in Alaska; on an island Jim called "one of the most beautiful places in the world that hardly anyone ever gets to see."We've timed the migration just perfect for our hunters with the big bachelor groups of bulls just starting to move through this week; that means that if Mother Nature cooperates they should be there all three weeks we have hunters in camp this year.
