Blustery windy day this morning. Got up in the dark, went over and had a cup of tea and at a Duke's house and then went out hunting with Chris and Mike McCrave. We went to an area where we thought there was a chance of both Reeve's muntjac and red deer.

Party's Over, Winter Strikes

Winter wonderland this morning, snow everywhere; the rut seems to be over. I've been calling all day, saw one bull maybe a 50-incher halfway up the mountainside, he listened but then just kept going to wherever he was headed; I think we're pretty well don

The first day… we traveled all the way back from spike camp, shut it down for the year; everything is put back in barrels out there so the grizzly bears can’t eat it. We even cut up some firewood for next year so it’s all ready to go.
Great trip back i
