Steve works for Jim part time as a guide/camera operator. He started his employment with Jim as a sherpa; packing Jim’s gear up a mountain on a Stone Sheep hunt. Another fond memory, shared by Steve with a fellow Team Shockey member Todd Bissenden, was a head-on collision in Todd’s new truck while shooting an episode of The Professionals in bear camp. Never a dull moment!!

When Steve isn't guiding/filming for Team Shockey he is manages a small market television station in Northern British Columbia. His other interests include hunting, fishing, playing ice hockey, snowboarding and motocross (although, recent urgings from his wife have prompted long-due retirement from the latter). Ninety-nine percent of Steve’s spare time is spent either on the riverbank, or in the bush.
