Jim Shockey - International Hunts

Anyone who has watched the show for very long knows Mike Fell has become Jim’s “go to” guy for hunting dangerous game in Africa. It is therefore appropriate that our very first international offering is a combination lion, leopard, cape buffalo and plains game hunt with Mike Fell in Tanzania. We have two 21 day safaris available with Mike – one from September 5th through the 27th and another one from the 18th of October through the 7th of November. If you have been waiting for the trip of a lifetime to hunt 3 of the “Big Five” in Africa, it doesn’t get any better than this.

Mike has a very high success rate on lions and has successfully guided Jim to mature, well maned lions in 2004, 2005 and 2006. On this safari you will also have an excellent chance for leopard, cape buffalo (2), sable, roan and other plains game. Hunting will mainly be out of blinds for the lion and leopard during the morning and evening hours, although there is a chance one will be spotted during the day and stalked. Plains game will be spotted during the day from vehicle and stalked

on foot so bring a comfortable pair of hunting boots and be ready to leave some tracks behind if you get on the track of a huge cape buffalo.

This is remote African bush hunting at its finest with one of the most respected operations in all of Africa.
